Job Description

We are looking for an oncologist who can join our team in treating, diagnosing as well as taking care of patients who are undergoing several forms of cancer. He\she should be able to treat regions of the body affected by cancer treatment. For instance, a gynecologic oncologist may perform surgery on a patient’s gastrointestinal tract that has been adversely affected by treatment.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • He\she should be able to identify the stage of cancer and communicate with the patient.
  • He\she should be able to perform diagnostic procedures using MRIs, x-rays, and biopsies to determine the existence and extent of cancerous tumors.
  • He\she must be able to communicate effectively and show empathy towards patients.
  • He\she should be able to develop appropriate treatment plans that provide the highest level of care while considering and respecting patient preference.
  • He\she must do physical examinations, writing prescriptions according to the result.
  • He\she creates and keeps a record of patients’ conditions.
  • He\she must refer patients to another specialist if there is a requirement.
  • He\she should be to supervise and lead the team.
  • He\she should ensure speedy and great recovery of patients.
